Students learning in this course engages both the approach to and strategies for preaching, teaching, speaking, or facilitating content in a variety of settings such as, but not limited to, a church, conference or seminar, small group communication, communication through digital mediums, and other contexts where biblically-based communication occurs.

Students learning in this course explore how Christians are designed not to be consumers but to be people who multiply their God-given potential in everyday life. This learning includes but is not limited to understanding the core parts of being a believer and how they affect each area of your life, exploration, and application of Ephesians in the contemporary church, and exploring how your gifting expresses itself in the world in your work and your life.

Students learning in this course engages leadership challenges and problem-solving. Ministry leadership is not for the faint-hearted. It takes strength, determination, trust, and perseverance. Ministry leadership challenges emerge in many forms and are both internal and external to the leader.
